Giving Back to Our Community

At Greensborough Plaza, we’re proud to be more than just a place to shop—we’re an active part of the community we serve. Throughout the year, we partner with local charities and organisations to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need support.

January

Greensborough Plaza donated $7,398.70 to Diamond Valley Community Support Inc. This money was raised during December from our Christmas Gift Wrapping and Santa Breakfasts. The funds will go towards helping local families in need.

March

Our community rallied together for the Share The Dignity Drive, providing essential items to women in need. We collected over 350 products to support women experiencing hardship.

April

The local community in partnership with the Plaza raised $1,301.15 at our Easter Bunny Morning Tea, which was donated to Diamond Valley Community Support Inc. to assist with those who need it most.

May

Throughout May, Greensborough Plaza partnered with The Nappy Collective to support families in crisis, and together with our community, we successfully collected over 4,000 nappies. The Nappy Collective is Australia’s only nonprofit dedicated solely to collecting and distributing nappies to families in need, operating nationwide all year round. They accept new, leftover, or outgrown nappies and deliver them through their trusted network of charity partners. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this campaign—your generosity will make a meaningful difference to Australian families doing it tough.

June

Greensborough Plaza hosted a magical Frozen in Time Weekend on June 27th and 28th in support of FightMND, raising $688.85 for the fight against Motor Neurone Disease. Over two days, families enjoyed complimentary frozen-themed crafts, professional face painting, glitter hair embellishments, and incredible frozen prehistoric animal displays in exchange for gold coin donations. FightMND is dedicated to finding effective treatments and ultimately a cure for Motor Neurone Disease through funding world-class research, while also supporting patients and their families with care and advocacy.
